About Us

Fortune Automotive is an independent European car workshop located in Braybrook (Victoria).

We specialise in VAG group cars (VW, Audi, Porsche, Skoda etc) but are also experienced in servicing and maintaining all major European (BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar, Ferrari etc) and Japanese (Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda etc) brands.

We carry out all mechanical diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and servicing including performance builds and track prep for select makes and models.

Founder

Adem Salan, Head Mechanic and Founder

Adem Salan is the Head Mechanic and founder of Fortune Automotive in 2014. He has over 20+ years industry experience and a trained specialist in air cooled and liquid cooled Porsches.

Over the last decade he has expanded his experience across other brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover etc shaping the way the workshop approaches diagnostic, servicing, repairs and performance work.

The workshop's focus is simple. Examine the symptom, identify the root cause, carry out the repair.

We carry out full log book servicing using genuine parts aligned to manufacturer requirements and can also update your vehicle's electronic service records.

We use factory level diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and narrow down root cause of mechanical issues and symptoms, taking out the guesswork

Mechanical Repairs

All mechanical repairs carried out in-house by specialist trained staff, including brakes and suspension, electrical faults and wiring, engine components, fuel injection, clutch replacements and rebuilds for auto and manual gearbox

At every service, we carry out a full vehicle safety inspection including tyres, brakes and suspension

Performance

A workshop specialising in European performance builds and tuning

We build high performance street cars specialising in VW and Audi, and in particular the 5 cylinder platform, with all engine, drivetrain, fuel system and tuning work carried out in-house.

01/ Engine build

Engine removal, strip down and re-assembly of long block including balancing and machining.

02/ Drivetrain

Complete DSG transmission re-builds including upgraded clutches, gearset and limited slip differential

03/ Fuel System

Upgraded fuel pumps, fuel lines and rail, higher output injectors surge tank setups including wiring

04/ Tuning

Custom ECU and TCU calibration for selected models, including dyno and road tuning
